The Outreach Ministry is focused on extending the church’s mission beyond its walls, engaging with the local community and beyond. It is much more than making our church known. The objective is to make Jesus Christ known and point people toward His saving grace. The Road does some kind of evangelistic outreach almost every month of the year. There are neighborhood Easter egg hunts, Memorial Day parade giveaways, tie-dye in the park during the summer, farmers market prayer initiatives, kids summer day camps, our Coat Closet, shelter room, Jinglefest parade and more. Our goal is to demonstrate the love and compassion of Christ through tangible acts of service. The Outreach Ministry also provides opportunities for partners to use their gifts and talents in service to others, fostering a spirit of generosity and love for others.
Coat Closet
Welcome to the Coat Closet. Each November, we come together to ensure everyone stays warm during the cold months. Our coat closet is stocked with gently used and new coats, hats, gloves, and scarves, all generously donated by our caring neighbors.
  • Donate: Drop off your gently used or new winter gear at any of our Sunday gatherings
  • Organize: Our dedicated volunteers sort and prepare the items for distribution.
  • Giveaway: In November, we host a special event where community members in need can come and select the winter gear that suits them best, free of charge.Join us in spreading warmth and kindness this winter. Your donations make a significant difference in the lives of many. Together, we can ensure that everyone in our community has the warmth they need to face the winter season.
