FUEL Groups (Food, Unwind, Engage, Learn) are an essential part of the ministry at the Road. Our top 3 priorities are worship gatherings each Sunday, FUEL groups and living out our faith in our community. These priorities are like a three legged stool. Without one of these legs, the ministry is not as effective. So, we desire each person at the Road to be part of a home based Bible study FUEL group. Groups start with a meal together, a time to unwind from the work day by sharing life with each other, engaging in God’s Word and learning from it and each other as we study. FUEL groups are also where our church prays for each other and the ministry of the Road. FUEL Groups are about igniting a passion for God's Word and learning how to apply it in real-life situations, fostering spiritual growth and stronger community bonds. They are open to all ages and backgrounds. We want to ignite personal spiritual growth, build stronger faith, and enable members to live out God’s best for them in all aspects of life.
Q: When and where do groups meet? Our groups meet in conjunction with the school year, running from September to the end of April or early May. For information on group meeting days and times, please check the announcements at service on Sundays. or contact the church using the email icon at the top of the website.
Q:What can I expect to take place during my group? You can expect a great meal, great conversation and to develop deeper friendships with others in our church! Most groups typically start off eating and catching up with one another and then move into a time of studying the Word and prayer.
Q: How long does the group meeting last? Most groups finish up in about 2 hours or so.
Q: What should I bring with me to FUEL Group? A dish to pass and your Bible! If you do not have a Bible, you can use an app on your phone, or your group leader may have extra ones you can borrow.
